About the Role
We are looking for a friendly, professional and highly organised Patient Services Team Member to join our busy Primary Care practice on a maternity cover contract.
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in delivering excellent customer service, both face-to-face and over the telephone. You will support patients with appointments, enquiries and administrative requests while helping ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.

- Can remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Has good IT and administrative skills.
- Demonstrates strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
- Is a team player with a positive and flexible approach.
- Previous reception, customer service or healthcare experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Job Description
- The successful candidate will have the ability to deal with patients in a confident and caring manner, ensuring an effective and efficient reception service is provided to patients and any other visitors to the Practice.
- Processing online and telephone requests, ensuring callers are directed to the appropriate healthcare professional.
- Undertaking a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the Practice.
- Hours: 39 hours per week, worked over 4 days 08:00 to 18:15, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
- Saturday Rota: 1 in 4 Saturdays, 08:45 to 17:00. Saturday hours are paid in addition to the contracted hours at the standard hourly rate.
