We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Fulfilment Operative to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient processing of orders, stock management, and maintaining high standards of quality control. Duties
- Handling materials efficiently, including loading and unloading goods using appropriate equipment such as forklifts
- Picking and packing items accurately according to order specifications
- Managing stock levels through regular stocking and replenishment activities
- Operating warehouse management systems to track inventory and process shipments
- Assisting with shipping and receiving tasks to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of goods
- Conducting quality control checks to maintain product standards
- Ensuring the workspace remains clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations
- Collaborating with team members to optimise workflow and meet fulfilment deadlines
Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse management, including materials handling and stock organisation
- Proficiency in operating forklifts (certification preferred) and mechanical knowledge is advantageous
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and order processing
- Ability to perform picking & packing efficiently while maintaining accuracy
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and load/unload activities throughout shifts
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail for quality control purposes
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
This role is ideal for candidates who are organised and eager to contribute to a fast-paced fulfilment operation. Prior warehouse experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided to the right applicant.
