Putterills has been selling homes across Hertfordshire since 1992. We are independent, established, Estate Agent and proud of the reputation we have built for honest advice, proper local knowledge and a more personal approach to estate agency.
We are now looking for an experienced Sales Negotiator / Valuer to join our Welwyn Garden City office.
This is a role for someone who already understands estate agency. You will be confident speaking with sellers, buyers and applicants, able to build trust quickly, and comfortable working across the full sales process, from valuation and instruction through to viewings and negotiations
You will have the freedom to do the job properly, with the support, structure and security of a strong local agency behind you.

What we are looking for
- Solid estate agency experience, including valuing and winning instructions
- A genuine track record in negotiating and agreeing sales
- The ability to earn trust quickly with sellers and buyers
- Strong communication skills and a professional manner
- Good organisation and attention to detail
- Good local knowledge of Welwyn Garden City and the surrounding area, or the drive to build it quickly
- A full UK driving licence and your own car
Please note that this is a mileage role. Business mileage is paid at 45p per mile and a company car is not provided.
What you get
- Basic salary of £28,000 to £32,000, depending on experience
- Realistic OTE of £45,000 to £55,000, regularly achieved and there to be exceeded by the right person
- Commission paid on your completions, including while you are on holiday
- £85 for every Saturday worked, or time off in lieu
- 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, and a company pension
- Monday to Friday, with Saturdays on a rota (1 in 3)
