iiCare Dental Labs is a modern, fully equipped dental laboratory established by the team behind iCare Dental Ltd, a trusted provider of high-quality dental care across London. Based within the state-of-the-art F1 Building, our laboratory focuses on advanced digital workflows, precision manufacturing, and high-quality restorative solutions for both internal clinics and external practices.
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Dental Lab Technician to join our growing laboratory team on a part-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled technician with strong digital and technical capabilities to play a key role within an ambitious and modern laboratory environment.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing and overseeing advanced and complex dental appliances, with a strong focus on digital workflows, quality control, and technical precision.
You will work closely with clinicians and the wider laboratory team to deliver consistently high standards across restorative and prosthetic cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture advanced and complex dental appliances including:
- Crowns and bridges
- Implant restorations
- Full arch and complex prosthetics
- Splints and orthodontic appliances
- Digital smile design and aesthetic cases
- Operate within fully digital workflows using:
- CAD/CAM systems (Exocad, 3Shape or equivalent)
- 3D printing technologies
- Intraoral scan integration
- Milling and digital design systems
- Interpret prescriptions, digital scans, models, and technical instructions accurately
- Ensure all work complies with:
- GDC standards
- MHRA requirements
- MDR regulations for custom-made dental devices
- Support quality assurance and workflow optimisation within the laboratory
- Assist junior technicians and contribute towards maintaining high technical standards across the lab
Requirements
- GDC registered Dental Technician (essential)
- Minimum 5 years’ UK dental laboratory experience post-GDC registration (essential)
- Proven experience with advanced restorative and complex prosthetic cases
- Strong digital dentistry experience including CAD/CAM workflows and 3D printing
- High attention to detail and strong technical ability
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within a modern laboratory setting
- Good communication and organisational skills
Desirable
- Experience in implantology and full arch restorations
- Experience with Exocad and/or 3Shape software
- Experience within a high-end private dental laboratory environment
