Location: The Miller of Mansfield, Goring-on-Thames, RG8 9AW
Pay: Up to £13.71 per hour, plus tronc
Hours: Around 32–48 hours per week

About the role
The Miller of Mansfield is an independently managed pub with rooms in Goring-on-Thames. We are looking for an experienced Chef de Partie who can run a section confidently, work cleanly and keep food quality and presentation consistent throughout service.
You will join a small, hands-on kitchen team cooking fresh food for the pub, restaurant, functions and hotel guests. This role would suit a capable section chef who wants a close-knit team and the chance to contribute to specials and menu development.
What you will be doing
- Running your section through prep and service
- Cooking and presenting dishes consistently to the agreed standard
- Working accurately with allergens, food safety and kitchen records
- Keeping stock correctly labelled, rotated and stored
- Helping control portions, waste and ordering
- Communicating clearly with the kitchen and front of house
- Supporting a clean, organised close-down and set-up for the next service
What we are looking for
- Recent professional experience as a Chef de Partie or above
- Experience in a fresh-food pub, restaurant or hotel kitchen
- Confidence running a section during a busy service
- Good food-hygiene and allergen awareness
- A reliable, calm and team-minded approach
- Reliable travel to Goring for morning, evening and weekend shifts
- Existing right to work in the UK
