We’re looking for a confident, energetic and knowledgeable TikTok Live Presenter to become one of the faces of OH SO Floral and help showcase our houseplant range through engaging live shopping sessions.
This role is perfect for someone who is comfortable on camera, genuinely loves houseplants and can create a fun, informative and sales-focused experience for viewers. You’ll present live products, explain plant care, answer customer questions in real time and help turn viewers into customers.
The role
As our TikTok Live Presenter, you’ll host regular live shopping sessions featuring a wide range of houseplants, including new arrivals, rare plants, restocks, statement plants and seasonal collections.
You’ll be responsible for presenting products clearly and enthusiastically, highlighting key features such as size, variegation, growth habit, care requirements and styling ideas. You’ll also interact with viewers throughout the live, answer questions, keep the session flowing and encourage customers to purchase through TikTok Shop.
Key responsibilities
- Host engaging TikTok Live shopping sessions for OH SO Floral
- Present and demonstrate houseplants in a natural, confident and informative way
- Explain plant care, light requirements, watering, humidity and general maintenance
- Highlight new arrivals, bestsellers, rare plants and promotional offers
- Answer live customer questions and provide helpful product recommendations
- Encourage interaction, follows, shares and purchases during live sessions
- Work with the wider team to plan live themes, offers and featured products
- Help create a welcoming, entertaining and trustworthy live-shopping experience
- Keep up to date with TikTok trends and live-shopping best practices
- Support occasional short-form TikTok content where required
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Confident and comfortable speaking on camera
- Naturally engaging, friendly and enthusiastic
- Passionate about houseplants and ideally knowledgeable about common varieties
- Able to explain products clearly without sounding scripted
- Comfortable answering questions and thinking on the spot
- Sales-focused while still providing an authentic customer experience
- Reliable and able to commit to regular live sessions
- Familiar with TikTok and social media trends
- Happy working in a fast-moving ecommerce environment
Previous presenting, retail, livestreaming, social media or sales experience would be an advantage, but personality, confidence and enthusiasm are just as important.
Houseplant knowledge
You don’t need to be a botanist, but a good working knowledge of houseplants would be required. Familiarity with plants such as Philodendron, Monstera, Alocasia, Anthurium, Calathea, Epipremnum, Ficus and other houseplants would be particularly useful.
Pay: £13.00 per hour
