The Role
We’re working with a law firm in Sittingbourne looking for a Conveyancing Assistant / Paralegal to strengthen its Residential Property team.
This would suit someone with some existing conveyancing experience who wants to become more involved in transactions and continue building their skills, rather than remaining in a purely administrative position.
Depending on your experience, you could be involved with:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Mortgages and remortgages
- Preparing contracts and property documentation
- Searches and Land Registry matters
- Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents and lenders
- Providing updates and helping transactions progress
- Supporting fee earners throughout the conveyancing process
You don’t need to know everything from day one. We’re particularly interested in candidates with some previous residential conveyancing experience, a good eye for detail and the motivation to develop further.
This could suit an experienced Conveyancing Assistant, Legal Assistant or Paralegal, as the position can be shaped around the successful candidate’s existing knowledge.
If you’re looking for a Conveyancing Assistant or Paralegal job in Sittingbourne with the opportunity to develop your skills and become more involved in residential property work, apply now for a confidential discussion.
Even if you don’t meet every requirement, we’d still encourage you to apply. We recruit for a variety of legal roles across Kent and may have other opportunities suited to your experience.
Your CV will not be sent to our client without us speaking with you first and discussing the role in detail.
