We are looking for a motivated, professional, and reliable Trainee Earwax Removal Assistant to join our growing team at Earwax Clinic Reading. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on clinical experience who is looking to expand their skills within a supportive and specialist healthcare environment.
Working Hours:
20 hours per week, worked Monday to Friday, 10:00am–2:00pm
Overtime is expected during busy periods, including some weekday evenings and weekends (Will need to be available to work atleast 2 Saturdays per month)
Flexibility is essential to meet clinic demand and support additional clinics where required
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting clinicians with ear wax removal procedures (full training provided)
Preparing treatment rooms, equipment, and consumables for appointments
Supporting excellent patient care and ensuring a welcoming, professional experience
Maintaining high hygiene, infection control, and clinical standards
Sterilising and preparing equipment in line with clinic protocols
Assisting with general administrative and day-to-day clinic support duties as required
Supporting clinic operations across locations when needed
Requirements:
Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential)
Some hands-on clinical experience is required, such as phlebotomy, dental nursing/assisting, dentistry, or similar patient-facing clinical roles
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A caring, calm, and professional approach to patient care
Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness and organisation
Ability to work flexibly, independently, and as part of a team
