We’re looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Chef to join our team at Winging It in Portobello. This weekend role offers 15–20 hours per week and is ideal for someone with previous kitchen experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in producing high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food to a consistently high standard.
- Ensure all dishes are presented and served according to company standards.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen at all times.
- Work independently when required and confidently manage the kitchen.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues during busy service periods.
- Remain focused and efficient under pressure.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of cooking experience in a professional kitchen.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety practices.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a busy kitchen environment.
