Responsibilities
- Safely operate coaches or buses along assigned routes, adhering to traffic laws and company policies
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, mechanical integrity, and cleanliness
- Communicate clearly with passengers, providing route information and addressing questions or concerns
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance needs
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks or report issues promptly to ensure optimal performance
- Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, including those with special needs or mobility challenges
- Follow all safety protocols and emergency procedures to protect passengers and yourself at all times
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle inspections and minor repairs
- Proven commercial driving experience with a valid <PERSON> driver’s license or equivalent certification
- Excellent communication skills in English to interact effectively with passengers and team members
- Experience as a delivery driver or in a similar transportation role is highly desirable
- Solid driving skills with a focus on safety, punctuality, and customer service excellence
- Ability to handle routine maintenance tasks and identify mechanical issues early
- Good understanding of traffic laws, safety regulations, and route navigation techniques
