PROJECT ADMINISTRATOR – PART-TIME

JOB PROFILE
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a part-time Project Administrator, working 3 days per week, to join our team at our offices in Whetstone, Leicestershire.
The role will provide day-to-day administrative support to our Project Management team, helping to ensure projects progress efficiently and that Project Managers have the information and support they need.
This is a varied and fast-paced administrative role involving regular communication with Project Managers, contractors, customers and other parties involved in our projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The role will include:
- Providing day-to-day administrative support to the Project Management team.
- Assisting Project Managers with the coordination and administration of live projects from instruction through to completion.
- Liaising with contractors to obtain and chase information including start dates, scopes of works, quotations, progress updates and outstanding documentation.
- Following up on outstanding project approvals, information and actions to help keep projects progressing.
- Liaising with customers, contractors and other relevant parties by telephone and email.
- Responding to incoming customer and contractor enquiries and directing or escalating these where appropriate.
- Keeping project records, internal systems and documentation accurate and up to date.
- Monitoring outstanding actions and proactively following these up.
- Preparing and sending project-related correspondence and documentation.
- Supporting the Project Management team with general project coordination and administration.
- Working closely with the wider team to ensure information is communicated effectively and projects are progressed in a timely manner.
- General office and administrative duties as required.
APPLICANT REQUIREMENTSAbout You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous administration experience.
- Has an excellent telephone manner and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Is confident communicating with customers, contractors and colleagues.
- Is organised and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in completing work accurately.
- Is proactive and comfortable chasing outstanding information and following tasks through to completion.
- Is confident using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Has good organisational and time-management skills.
- Is able to work independently while also being a strong team player.
- Is comfortable working in a busy environment where priorities can change throughout the day.
Previous administration experience within the construction, property, insurance or claims industry would be an advantage, but is not essential.
Full training on our internal systems and processes will be provided.
HOURS & DAYS
- Part-time position working 3 days per week.
- The role is based at our offices in Whetstone, Leicestershire.
- This is an office-based position, as working closely with the Project Management team is an important part of the role.
- Exact working days and hours can be discussed and agreed with the successful candidate.
SALARY
