Nursery Cook and Support Staff

Job details

Hours will be 9:30am-4:30pm

To prepare meals for children on a daily basis.
To follow strictly each child dietary requirements / needs.
To record food, fridge and freezer temperature on a daily basis.
To carry out all cleaning aspect of the nursery on a day to day basis including garden.
To ensure Health and Safety is maintain throughout the nursery and understand and implement the nursery Risk Assessment and Health and Safety Policies and Reporting Procedures.
To inform the Manager of items required for your duties.
To wear PPA provided by the nursery.
To undertake routine and laundry tasks as needed to keep nursery equipment and resources hygienic and safe for use.
To actively promote Equality of opportunity and anti-discriminatory needs.
To keep abreast with and adhere to the Nursery Child Protection Policy.
To take part in annual staff appraisal and personally development plan.
To undertake any training needed to keep up to date with current approaches in and changes to childcare.
To attend staff meetings.
To read and sign all policies and procedures.
To aid in the upkeep and cleanliness of the nursery.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £13.00 per hour
