Overview
We are seeking a trainee plumber to join our team. Ideally the successful candidate will possess some building/plumbing knowledge and be happy liaising with other trades and customers. But this is not essential as all training will be given.
This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work with a variety of tools and equipment. A commitment to safety and quality workmanship is essential.
Responsibilities
- To help the engineer you will be working with
- Utilise hand tools, and power tools.
- Perform heavy lifting as required when handling materials and equipment.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects, including carpentry work as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns professionally.
Requirements
- Proficiency in basic maths for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with plumbing work
- Attention to detail
- Punctuality
- Live in or very close proximity to Honiton
- Willingness to learn new skills, or advance your existing skills
- Experience with assembly techniques relevant to plumbing installations is desirable
