Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Coffee Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality coffee beverages. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and specialised drinks
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately
- Handle cash register operations and process payments efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and seating area
- Follow food safety standards and hygiene regulations at all times
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light bites when required
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
- Uphold high standards of customer service by engaging with customers professionally and courteously
Experience
- Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of food safety procedures is advantageous
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is desirable
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Ability to work well within a team and independently when needed
