Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Class 2 Tipper Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a Class 2 commercial vehicle equipped with a tipper mechanism to transport and deliver materials efficiently and safely. Duties
- Safely operate a Class 2 tipper truck to transport construction materials, aggregates, or other bulk goods to various sites.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload materials using the tipper mechanism, ensuring proper handling and securement.
- Plan delivery routes efficiently to meet schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site personnel, and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle inspection records, and compliance documentation.
- Follow all health and safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with Class 2 vehicles and tipper trucks.
- Strong understanding of flatbed operations and secure load handling.
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of delivery procedures, route planning, and time management.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
- Good communication skills for interacting with team members and clients.
- Familiarity with relevant transportation regulations and safety standards.
