CILEX Law School invites applications for a position as Law Lecturer specialising in Residential and Commercial Conveyancing.
The successful candidate will possess substantial and credible practice experience in conveyancing. Whilst prior teaching experience is not essential, applicants must be able to demonstrate the capability and commitment required to operate effectively within an academic environment.
Person Specification
Applicants will be expected to demonstrate:

Experience of training, mentoring, or developing others within a conveyancing or legal practice setting

A strong commitment to supporting learner development, with the ability to motivate and inspire individuals to achieve their potential

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to listen and respond appropriately to the needs of a range of stakeholders

Proven ability to establish and maintain effective professional relationships

Experience in providing constructive feedback in a clear, professional, and sensitive manner

Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage, prioritise, and deliver against multiple competing demands

A clear commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of learners

Willingness and ability to develop teaching practice and contribute to curriculum and course design
