About the Role
We're looking for a motivated Trainee Marketing and Management Assistant to join our team and develop practical experience across sales, marketing, customer acquisition, and campaign operations.
Our business specialises in traditional, offline marketing and face-to-face sales campaigns. This means the role involves working directly with customers rather than working in digital marketing, social media, or an office-based marketing environment.
The position starts at an entry-level stage, allowing you to build a strong understanding of our products, clients, sales processes, and campaign objectives before taking on additional responsibilities.
What You'll Do
- Represent our clients through offline, face-to-face sales and marketing campaigns.
- Speak directly with customers to introduce and promote the products and services being represented.
- Develop knowledge of the products, services, clients, and campaigns you work on.
- Support customer acquisition and sales activities.
- Build professional relationships with customers through clear and confident communication.
- Follow campaign guidelines and represent clients professionally.
- Work towards individual and team campaign objectives.
- Learn how campaigns are planned, delivered, and managed.
- Support experienced team members with day-to-day campaign activity.
- As your experience develops, gain exposure to team coordination and additional campaign responsibilities.
Training and Development
The role begins with comprehensive training designed to help you understand the business and build confidence in a professional, customer-facing environment.
Your initial training will include:
- Product and service knowledge.
- Client and campaign information.
- Face-to-face customer communication.
- Sales and customer acquisition techniques.
- Campaign procedures and objectives.
- Professional standards and client representation.
- Understanding how sales campaigns are organised and managed.
You'll receive ongoing coaching and feedback as you develop your skills and understanding.
As you gain experience and demonstrate the relevant skills, there will be opportunities to take on additional responsibilities involving campaign coordination, team support, coaching, and management.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who:
- Communicates confidently or is willing to develop their communication skills.
- Is comfortable speaking with customers face-to-face.
- Has a professional and approachable manner.
- Is reliable and organised.
- Has a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Can work towards individual and team objectives.
- Responds positively to coaching and feedback.
- Is interested in developing practical sales, marketing, and management skills.
Previous experience in sales, retail, hospitality, customer service, events, promotions, or marketing is helpful but not required.
What You'll Gain
- Practical experience in offline marketing and face-to-face sales.
- Product, client, and campaign knowledge.
- Training in customer engagement and sales.
- Experience supporting customer acquisition campaigns.
- Development of communication, commercial awareness, organisation, and teamwork skills.
- Exposure to campaign coordination and management responsibilities as you develop.
- Ongoing coaching and professional development.
Important Information About the Role
This is an on-site, face-to-face sales and marketing position. The role involves regular direct interaction with customers as part of offline sales and marketing campaigns. It is not a remote, hybrid, digital marketing, social media, or office-based marketing role. This is a self-employed position.
Compensation: Base guarantee with commissions.
The products and services you'll represent, as well as payment structure for each campaign, will be explained during the recruitment and training process, and full campaign information will be provided before you begin representing a client.
