Solutions for HR is a growing HR and Employment Law consultancy based in Bury providing a complete range of outsourced HR and employment law services to small and medium sized businesses in the North West and beyond.
As our Business Admin Apprentice you will be working within a team of HR professionals, responsible for providing HR administration and operational support to colleagues and clients whilst studying for your Level 3 qualification in Business Administration.
This role provides a fantastic opportunity to develop highly transferrable administration skills with exposure to a range of HR related administrative functions.
What you’ll be doing:
· New starter onboarding for clients
· Inputting and processing HR data onto our systems
· Create HR data reports and provide HR metrics
· Creation of basic letters including employee change notifications
· Absence, holiday and HR system administration
· Obtaining references on behalf of clients
· Drafting HR related forms for example induction processes and probationary reviews
· Provide recruitment support including writing job adverts, short listing and arranging interviews
· Maintaining client files and our internal database
· Map out and create process workflows
What you’ll need:
· Strong administration skills
· A proactive approach
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· High level of customer awareness and commitment to deliver a high standard of service
· Ability to work with minimal supervision and organise and manage own workload
· Strong attention to detail.
· Ability to proficiently use IT systems including Microsoft Office
· Ability to input data onto HR systems and databases and to understand system configuration
· Not afraid of working in a fast-paced environment
· A high level of flexibility
· Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
