Job Overview
Grip. is a luxury, boutique wellness studio located in Birmingham. We are looking for an experienced and passionate Freelance Yoga Instructor to join our growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a premium studio environment focused on high-quality movement, exceptional client experience, and a strong sense of community.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and high-quality 50-minute yoga classes (e.g. Vinyasa, Hatha, Flow, or Restorative depending on your expertise)
- Provide clear instruction, hands-on adjustments (where appropriate) with safe progressions/regressions when necessary.
- Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for clients of all abilities.
- Guide clients through mindful movement, breathwork, and relaxation techniques.
- Build strong relationships with clients and support community engagement
- Maintain studio cleanliness and uphold equipment standards
- Support studio events, themed classes, and brand initiatives where required
- Work collaboratively with management to maintain consistent class quality
Requirements
- Recognised Yoga Teacher Training certification (200-hour minimum, essential)
- Previous experience teaching group yoga classes (1 year preferred)
- Strong understanding of anatomy, movement principles, and injury prevention
- Confident in delivering safe and effective adjustments and modifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, reliable, and punctual
- Ability to deliver a premium, client-focused experience
Preferred Availability
- Ability to teach 2-4 classes per week
- Availability for weekday mornings, evenings, and/or weekends.
