Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Recovery Driver with a Class 2 (7.5-ton) license to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Safely operate recovery vehicles with a Class 2 (7.5-ton) license to transport and recover vehicles from various locations.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections prior to and after recovery operations, utilizing mechanical knowledge to identify issues.
- Load, secure, and unload vehicles using flatbed trucks or other specialized equipment, ensuring safety standards are met.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members to coordinate recovery operations and provide updates.
- Maintain accurate records of all recoveries, including detailed logs of vehicle conditions, locations, and recovery procedures.
- Assist in warehouse activities as needed, including loading/unloading goods and managing inventory.
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic regulations diligently to ensure safe operations at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 2 (7.5-ton) driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in commercial driving, delivery driving, or vehicle recovery roles.
- Strong driving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency across various terrains and conditions.
- Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting is highly desirable.
- Experience working with flatbed trucks or specialized recovery equipment is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
- Warehouse experience is advantageous for supporting logistics operations when needed.
