We are a Midland based builders merchants with over 40 years establishment in the building trade. We currently operate six depots around the West Midland region with a forward thinking culture to expand within the industry.
The company currently operate around 20 truck vehicles in which all have the ability to load various types of materials with crane capabilities. This includes all building products including civils such as concrete rings, ducting, piping and jumbo aggregates.
We are looking for an experienced Van Driver to join our team for a period of 8 weeks for 36 hours per week. This is a physically demanding, hands‑on role involving the loading, unloading, and handballing of building materials of all sizes. Reliability, safe driving, and a strong work ethic are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 3.5t pickup vehicle for local and regional deliveries
- Handball building materials of varying weights and sizes on and off the vehicle
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery points
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report any issues
- Maintain accurate delivery records
- Work 5–6 days per week as required
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar driving role (construction/builders merchant/industrial preferred)
- Proven ability to handball heavy and awkward building materials
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong communication and customer‑facing skills
- Reliable, punctual, and safety‑focused
Important
- This is NOT a parcel delivery role.
- Applicants with only DPD/parcel delivery experience will not be considered.
- This role is paid at National Minimum Wage.

Opening Hours 7.30am till 5.00pm Monday to Saturday and Sundays 9am to 2pm - Flexible hours during these times.
