Heydays at Sideshore is Exmouth’s relaxed, beachside restaurant and bar with some of the best sea views in town. We serve great coffee, crowd‑pleasing food, cold pints, and easygoing hospitality from morning to sunset. With a dog‑friendly atmosphere, live music Fridays, and a steady flow of locals and beach‑goers, the venue has a warm, welcoming feel — and keeping the space clean, fresh, and ready for the day is a huge part of that experience.
The Role
We’re looking for a Cleaner to prepare Heydays for opening each morning. This is an early‑morning position, working 4am to 8am, 2 days per Week, ensuring the restaurant, bar, and guest areas are spotless, stocked, and ready for a smooth start to the day. It’s a role for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys quiet, focused shifts, and likes being part of a friendly, supportive team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Early‑morning cleaning — completing the full venue clean before opening
- Floors & surfaces — sweeping, mopping, wiping down tables, counters, and touch‑points
- Bathrooms — keeping guest toilets clean, stocked, and hygienic
- Bins & waste — emptying bins, managing recycling, and keeping back‑of‑house areas tidy
- Stocking & supplies — ensuring cleaning products, paper goods, and soaps are topped up
- Team support — communicating with the FOH team to keep standards consistent throughout the day
What You’ll Bring

- Good attention to detail and consistency
- Ability to follow a routine and complete tasks to a high standard
- Basic understanding of cleaning and hygiene practices (training provided)

Pay
- £13.50 Ph plus a share of the tips.
