Overall job purpose
To be part of a team delivering a Council Tax and Business Rates (Non Domestic Rates) liability, billing and recovery service and a Corporate Debt recovery service. This includes the assessment of liability for Council Tax and Business Rates and responding to enquiries in relation to liability and recovery of debt. There is also responsibility for ensuring that decisions are correct and timely and in line with general debt recovery policies and regulations and that decisions are correct in relation to calculation of liability and agreeing recovery arrangements.
