The Play Company is dedicated to creating fun and safe play environments for all ages. The ambitious family-run business is passionate about designing and building bespoke projects for customers in the UK, Europe, and the United States.
Our in-house sales and design teams work with customers to create bespoke play areas before our manufacturing team brings the vision to life. Each play area is then carefully delivered to site and installed to comply with the regulations.
About the Role
We’re in an exciting period of growth and looking for factiory assemblers to join our enthusiastic and fun team in Kingsbridge.
Reporting to the Team Leader, you will play a key role in our busy factory assembling high-quality products that build exciting play frames. We're looking for a hard-working, motivated individual who is eager to be part of this growing industry. You will receive training on the products, various build stations and hand tools.
Working Hours:
We're flexible, so you can be too!
Choose day or night shifts, Monday to Sunday, with 10–40 hours per week to fit around your commitments.
What you’ll do:
- Follow assembly plans - we can teach you all about this!
- Prepare and cut materials
- Assembling various goods including timber, foams, and vinyl
- Operate hand and power tools, such as chop saw, drills, impact drivers etc
- House keeping of work area
What you’ll need:
Excellent eye for detail, and plenty of drive, motivation and ambition
Committed to learning, self-motivated and hard working
Health & Safety aware, with a willingness to wear PPE
Full clean driving licence
