We are currently seeking to recruit Early Years Practitioners to work at our Bathgate Playgroup
We are looking for enthusiastic, energetic and dedicated individual to take advantage of this challenging and exciting opportunity. The successful candidates will have to demonstrate a genuine passion for providing the highest standards in quality childcare - strong communication skills and team-working abilities are essential.
What you’ll be doing
- Create and implement engaging activities and environments.
- Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding procedures and policies are followed at all times
- Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment on a day to day basis
What we’re looking for
- Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
- Team Player
- Good Communication skills
- Knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
- Experience of policy and practice in Scotland, including experience of working with the range of practice documents, e.g. Realising the Ambition, Curriculum for Excellence, Health and Social Care Standards
Qualifications
Required -
HNC Early Education and Childcare
SVQ 3 Children’s Care Learning and Development (or equivalent)
Driving License
Professional Requirements
· Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) Registration
· Enhanced PVG Disclosure Scotland
