Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles, including vans, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies
- Load and unload goods carefully, ensuring items are secure during transit
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules and any unforeseen delays
- Uphold high standards of professionalism and customer service during interactions with clients
- Stock taking
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar role, with excellent driving skills and a clean driving licence
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Experience with commercial driving vehicles such as vans
- Knowledge of local routes, traffic regulations, and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining organisational skills
- Prior experience in delivery driver roles is highly desirable
- Valid driving licence suitable for the vehicle type being operated
- Good physical fitness to handle loading/unloading tasks and long periods of driving
