We are looking for friendly, reliable and customer-focused Banking Hub Assistants to join the team at our new Banking Hub in Ryde which is due to launch on 26th August.
This is a front-of-house role helping local customers, businesses and members of the community access face-to-face banking support. The hub will be especially important for people who find online banking difficult or who need support with cash, payments, deposits or general banking guidance.
This role would suit someone who enjoys helping people, can follow clear processes and takes pride in giving excellent service.
Key responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
Welcoming and assisting customers in the Banking Hub
Providing friendly, clear and professional customer service
Helping customers with cash, payments, deposits and general guidance
Supporting elderly, vulnerable or less confident customers
Following procedures accurately and consistently
Handling cash and customer information carefully
Maintaining confidentiality at all times
Using basic IT systems as required
Keeping calm and professional during busy periods
Referring queries or concerns to the Team Leader / Supervisor
Helping maintain a smart, clean and professional working environment

Previous banking experience would be helpful but is not essential. Full training will be provided.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
