Gateway is looking for a dedicated Female Outreach Support Worker to join our friendly and supportive team on a full time, permanent basis.
About the Role
As an Outreach Support Worker, you'll make a real difference in people's lives by providing practical and emotional support within the community. No two days are the same, and your role may include:
- Supporting individuals with shopping and daily living tasks
- Accompanying clients to appointments
- Encouraging participation in social and leisure activities
- Promoting independence, wellbeing, and confidence
- Building positive, trusting relationships with service users
This role supports individuals experiencing mental health challenges, so previous experience working within a mental health setting is essential.
What We're Looking For
- At least 1 years’ experience supporting people with mental health needs
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- Fluent English skills
- SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care, or willingness to work towards it (fully funded by Gateway)A compassionate, reliable, and person-centred approach
