Responsibilities

- Take accurate orders at the counter, ensuring timely service and upselling additional menu items when appropriate
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area, including food prep stations and display cases
- Handle cash register operations accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change
- Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure hygiene and quality standards are met at all times
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and delivery for a smooth flow of service
Qualifications
- Prior experience in restaurant or food service environments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations
- Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Understanding of food safety regulations and proper hygiene practices
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Experience with upselling menu items to enhance sales opportunities
- Culinary or kitchen experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
