Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Part-time Kitchen Porter to join our busy hospitality team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about the culinary and hospitality industry, looking to gain valuable experience in a professional kitchen environment. The successful candidate will play a vital part in maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen, ensuring smooth daily operations. Duties
- Assisting with food preparation and basic cooking tasks under supervision
- Washing, sanitising, and storing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas
- Supporting the kitchen team with organising supplies and ingredients
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Assisting with serving food and beverages as required during busy periods
- Helping with general hospitality duties to support the overall guest experience
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is advantageous but not essential
- Knowledge of food preparation and basic cooking techniques is desirable
- Experience working in a busy kitchen environment or in food service roles is beneficial
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends if required

Pay: £10.85-£12.81 per hour
