We’re looking for a reliable and proactive Vending Operative to join our catering team at Meta in London. You’ll help keep our coffee and food vending areas running smoothly, ensuring they are clean, well-stocked and welcoming while delivering excellent customer service.
What you’ll do

Replenish food, drinks and other stock across vending areas

Keep vending machines and surrounding areas clean, tidy and well presented

Carry out cleaning duties in line with the site cleaning schedule

Monitor stock levels, rotate products and complete stock counts
-
Order stock and assist with the purchasing of goods
-
Ensure food safety, allergen and Health & Safety standards are followed
-
Provide friendly and professional service to customers
-
Report any issues or faults to your Supervisor or Manager

Support special events and functions when required
-
Work collaboratively with the wider catering team and support other departments when needed
What you’ll bring

Previous experience in a catering, vending or customer service environment is desirable

A friendly, professional and customer-focused approach
-
Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness

Good numeracy and literacy skills

Ability to work independently and use your initiative

Reliable, trustworthy and flexible approach

Ability to multitask and prioritise your workload

Basic IT skills

Knowledge of Food Safety and COSHH would be advantageous
Flexibility may be required to support operational needs, including occasional support across other sites within the portfolio.
