Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and personable Service Advisor / Front of House Manager to oversee the customer experience and manage the front-of-house operations within our Land Rover service centre. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a good understanding of mechanical processes, and the ability to upsell services effectively. This role involves coordinating appointments, managing customer interactions, handling cash transactions, and ensuring a smooth flow of daily operations to enhance customer satisfaction and maximise revenue.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and professionally upon arrival, providing a positive first impression of the business
- Schedule service appointments and manage the booking calendar efficiently
- Advise customers on additional services or repairs through upselling techniques, ensuring their needs are met while maximising sales opportunities
- Maintain clear communication with technicians regarding vehicle status and customer expectations
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments securely
- Manage customer queries and concerns promptly, ensuring high levels of satisfaction
- Oversee the cleanliness and organisation of the front desk area to present a professional environment
- Support inventory management for parts and promotional materials as needed
Experience
- Proven experience in a customer service role within the automotive or retail industry is preferred, Land Rover Experience is a bonus
- Strong mechanical knowledge or familiarity with vehicle systems is advantageous but not essential
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products or services effectively while maintaining excellent customer relations
- Experience in cash handling and processing transactions accurately
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly demeanour that fosters trust and rapport with customers

Pay: £29,120.00-£41,600.00 per year
