Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Level 2 Barber to join our professional team. Duties
- Provide a wide range of barbering services including haircuts, trims, shaves, and styling tailored to individual client preferences
- Consult with clients to understand their desired look and offer professional advice on hair care and styling options
- Maintain a clean and hygienic work station in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Ensure all tools and equipment are properly sanitised and maintained for optimal performance
- Build rapport with clients through friendly communication, ensuring a positive experience that encourages repeat visits
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in hair styling and barbering industry standards
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently to maximise client flow and minimise wait times
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Level 2 Barber or similar role with a strong portfolio of work
- Demonstrable expertise in hair styling, cutting, shaving, and grooming techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and ensure client satisfaction
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also managing individual client needs
- Organised with attention to detail to maintain hygiene standards and ensure quality service delivery
- Flexibility to work during peak hours including weekends if required
- Valid barbering qualifications recognised within the UK or equivalent certification
