Electrician / Solar PV / EV Charger Installer
Location: Newton Abbot, Devon
Salary: £40,000–£50,000 per year (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Grant’s Electrical Solutions Ltd is looking for an experienced, motivated electrician to join our growing team.
You’ll be working across the South West, predominantly within a 50-mile radius of Newton Abbot, carrying out a wide variety of domestic and commercial electrical work, with a strong focus on solar PV, battery storage and EV charger installations.
Responsibilities
- Domestic and commercial electrical installations
- Solar PV and battery storage installations
- EV charger installations and commissioning
- Consumer unit upgrades
- Fault finding, testing and inspection
- Working to a high standard while maintaining excellent customer service
- Completing certification and job records accurately
Essential Requirements
- Fully qualified electrician (Level 3 NVQ or equivalent)
- 18th Edition
- AM2
- 2391 or equivalent testing and inspection qualification (Not required but preferred)
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- High standards of workmanship and attention to detail
Desirable
- Solar PV installation experience
- EV charger installation experience
- NICEIC QS experience
- ECS Gold Card
