Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all areas are kept to the highest standards. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A commitment to excellent customer service and effective communication is essential for success in this role.
Duties
- Perform cleaning tasks in designated areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces.
- Ensure all surfaces are dusted, vacuumed, mopped, and sanitised as required.
- Dispose of waste and recycling appropriately while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any shortages or maintenance needs.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to client requests and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding cleaning schedules and tasks.
- Commute to various locations as needed to perform cleaning duties, ensuring timely arrival at each site.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently without supervision.
