As a Consultant or Senior Consultant in the team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-impact client engagements and contributing to the strategic development of our Human Capital offerings. You will apply your expertise to support the development of new business opportunities and foster strong client relationships within the Private (Consumer, Energy, Life Sciences and Technology) sector. You will also contribute to building the firm's reputation in the marketplace and actively participate in mentoring and developing junior team members to support our growth ambitions.
As a Consultant or Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for:

Contributing to and leading workstreams within HR Consulting projects, including HR vision and strategy, HR Operations, HR Shared Services, and HR process design—integrating AI-enabled approaches where relevant.

Applying insights to support delivery of HR transformation, including automation and AI application opportunities, workforce analytics, and enhancements to employee experience.

Supporting the design and delivery of HR interventions (e.g., talent, learning, reward, employee experience), incorporating AI-powered tools to improve analysis, quality, and impact.

Using generative AI and data tools to enhance personal productivity, generate insights, and support structured project delivery.

Contributing to planning and shaping major HR programmes, leveraging diagnostics, benchmarks, and capability assessments.

Monitoring and reporting project risks and opportunities, including considerations relating adoption, data quality, and technology enablement.

Building strong working relationships across Consulting and other service lines, including teams focused on digital, analytics, and workforce transformation.

Contributing to pre-sales, bids, and proposition development, including AI-related HR transformation offerings.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

Experience in HR transformation, HR Operating Model development, organisation design, or specialist HR areas, with an awareness and understanding of how AI is impacting these domains.

Understanding of how technology and automation are reshaping work, HR services, workforce capabilities, and people processes.

Awareness of HR market trends, including emerging AI capabilities, people technology developments, and future of work themes.
-
Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to interpret insights and convey complex ideas clearly.

Experience supporting delivery of large programmes, supporting planning, analysis, documentation, and governance.

Ability to manage stakeholders and navigate diverse client scenarios, including discussion of AI implications on roles, workflows, and adoption challenges.

Strong organisational skills, experience working in teams, and supporting junior colleagues—including helping develop AI literacy and digital skills.

Demonstrated interest in using AI to enhance personal productivity and improve quality of client deliverables.
- Acutely aware of risk management, proactively identifying and mitigating risks associated with people, process, systems and change, within your scope of work.

Track record in supporting account development, business, and relationship development, and the ability to identify and escalate opportunities to build and develop Deloitte's HR Transformation practice footprint.

Strong organisational skills with experience of working in a team and/or supporting junior team members.
