Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Manager to lead the operations of Paper Cup Coffee in Liverpool City Centre. We are particularly looking for someone who has experience of working in the homelessness sector. Catering experience is a requirement, and experience of managing a team is crucial. We are looking for someone who has experience of working in the hostel services, or homeless services, and is very familiar with our stakeholder customers, and the challenges that they face
Responsibilities
- · An understanding of the issues faced by people who are at risk of or are experiencing homelessness and or people with complex support needs.
- · Ability to work with service users in a supportive way. To be able to assess need and engage and signpost to the appropriate support as required.
- · Experience in a catering or community setting.
- · To have completed (or be willing to complete) a Food Hygiene Level 2/3 qualification.
- · The ability to accurately record relevant health and safety checks and outcomes measures
- · Experience in team management
- · Skills to train team members in food handling / preparing drinks when required, as well as input on menu creation, food handling and preparation
- · Experience in stock replen/ supervising stock takes / ordering
- · Ability to create weekly staff rotas and managing staff holidays and absences
- · Ensure high standards of hygiene, health and safety are implemented at all times
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of Paper Cup Coffee
- Build relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and organizational policies.
Pay: £14.50-£15.00 per hour
