Duties
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using tools such as SQL, R, and Python to identify trends and patterns that inform business strategies
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations with Tableau and Power BI to communicate insights clearly and effectively to stakeholders
- Design and maintain databases using Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and database design principles to ensure data integrity and accessibility
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on business analysis projects, translating requirements into technical solutions aligned with the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
- Create detailed reports, charts, and presentations using Visio, VBA, and Bash (Unix shell scripting) to support decision-making processes
- Manage project timelines and deliverables through effective project management practices, ensuring timely completion of analytical initiatives
- Conduct ongoing analysis of operational data to recommend process improvements and support strategic planning efforts
Experience
- Proven experience in data analysis or business intelligence roles with a strong understanding of SQL for data querying and manipulation
- Proficiency in visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI for creating compelling dashboards and reports
- Hands-on experience with programming languages including R and Python for statistical analysis and automation tasks
- Knowledge of database management systems like Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, along with database design principles
- Familiarity with SDLC methodologies to manage project lifecycle from requirements gathering through deployment
- Strong business analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets into actionable insights
- Experience working with VBA macros, Bash scripting (Unix shell), Visio for diagramming workflows or processes
