Live-Out Nanny – Ladbroke Grove, London
We are recruiting for a kind and warm small family based in Ladbroke Grove, London, looking for a kind, experienced, and proactive live-out nanny to join them and care for their 2-year-old son.
- Start date: Early September
- Location: Ladbroke Grove, London
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM–8:00 PM
- Occasional weekend cover: 1 full day or half day
- Minimum hours per week 45 with possible overtime to 55 hours a week.
- Hourly rate (gross): £17-£19 per hour depending on experience
About the Family
- They are a warm family with a 2-year-old son
- Dad works in the office and travels frequently
- Mum is an architect and primarily works from home
- Their son will start nursery in September, four days a week, from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
- They travel as a family 3–4 times a year, mainly within Europe and Lebanon, and would love the nanny to join them
The Role
- Provide warm, attentive, and nurturing care for the son
- Incorporate Montessori principles into daily activities and routines
- Support his development and milestones
- Organise playdates, classes, parks, and outings
- Prepare meals for the son and occasionally for the family
- Manage the childs laundry, ironing, room, clothes, and toys
- Keep the kitchen clean and tidy
- General light tidying throughout the day
- Occasionally stay later when needed
- Be flexible as our family grows and our needs evolve
What They’re Looking For
- Fluent, clear spoken English
- Genuine hands-on childcare experience
- Familiarity with Montessori style
- First-aid trained with relevant childcare certifications
- Warm, calm, patient, and emotionally mature
- Organised, proactive, and able to work independently
- Discreet and respectful of family privacy
- Flexible and adaptable
- Looking for a long-term position
Pay: £17.00-£19.00 per hour
