Set in a stunning situation, the property features over 50 bedrooms and, alongside extensive grounds, has a Food & Beverage offering that includes outlets covering all-day dining, serving both residents and non-residents. In addition, the hotel offers meeting and event spaces, attracting a balanced mix of corporate and leisure clientele.
The Role
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day leadership of the hotel, deputising in their absence and ensuring consistently high operational standards. This position carries particular emphasis on elevating the entire operation, making prior experience in all Hotel areas essential.
You will be responsible for driving overall performance, enhancing the guest experience, managing departmental costs (with a strong focus on payroll), aspects of Health and Safety, and fostering a positive, engaged team culture while achieving agreed commercial targets.
The Ideal Candidate
· Proven experience in a similar senior hotel operations role at 4*+
· Strong commercial awareness with a results-driven mindset
· In-depth knowledge of hotel operations, with a solid Food & Beverage background
· Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
· Passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences
· A natural leader with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop teams
· Detail-oriented with excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
· Positive, professional, and proactive approach
Key Responsibilities
· Oversee daily hotel operations, maintaining clear communication with the General Manager
· Ensure compliance with company standards and all relevant legal requirements
· Coordinate effectively across all departments to deliver a seamless guest experience
· Monitor and drive quality across all areas of the business
· Supporting the General Manager to manage and control all Hotel costs, including wages and utilities
· Lead, coach, and develop Heads of Department and their teams
· Maintain a strong presence within the operation, leading by example
· Ensure every guest leaves with a positive and lasting impression
