The Role
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to support our chef and help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of our care home kitchen.
You will play an important role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food preparation, and service, helping to provide nutritious and enjoyable meals for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation as directed by the chef
- Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene
- Wash dishes and ensure all kitchen equipment is clean and stored correctly
- Support with serving meals and drinks
- Set up and clear dining areas
- Ensure compliance with food safety and health & safety regulations
What We’re Looking For
- A positive, reliable, and caring attitude
- Enjoyment of working in a kitchen environment
- Good communication skills and a good level of English
- Previous experience is helpful but not essential (full training provided)
- Right to work in the UK
