An exciting and unique opportunity has arisen for a full-time member of staff to join the Service & Case Support Team on a temporary contract until 31 March 2027. This is a highly skilled role which provides administrative support to Young People’s Services which encompasses the Youth Justice Service, Return Home Interview Service, EPIC Youth Crime Prevention Team, Careers Information Advice & Guidance, Pause, Psychology Service and Children’s Rights. The role provides support across Young People’s Services, including direct work supporting Service Managers and the Strategic Lead as required.
This role will be split between supporting Young People’s Service’s in its entirety and supporting the expanding Psychological Service. Given the dual nature of the role, all applicants will require excellent time management and organisational skills to manage both aspects effectively. The support role within the Psychological Service will require close working with the Service Manager, the Psychology Team and wider Social Care. You will be responsible for daily monitoring of all psychological referrals and managing performance data in relation to this.
The team provide efficient, effective and professional administrative and case management support to Young People’s Services across a range of activities which meet quality standards and performance targets. You will work as part of a team and will be able to work flexibly to meet the demands of the role. You will need to be able to undertake new tasks in a fast paced and changing, dynamic organisation.
The post holder will be working with confidential information and will be expected to always work within Data Protection guidelines.

General administrative functions to Young People’s Services
- Use of a variety of IT systems including MS Office package
- Case level support
- Supporting the Court and custody processes
- Business support for data collection processes
- Service and electronic minute taking for a full range of professional and client focused meetings
- Processing financial transactions
- Project support for bids and innovation
- Working closely with police and wider Social Care to manage and monitor missing young people
- Collating performance data in relation to missing young people
