Job Title: Nurse Team leader x 2 (Supernumerary)
Supernumerary Nurse Manager position available to lead a dedicated team of nurses and support workers assisting a bright young person with a physical disability and with complex medical needs. Our client requires 24/7 support on a 2:1 basis, including tracheostomy care, catheter and stoma care, manual handling and medication management.
The Supernumerary Nurse team leader will work directly with our client 1 x 12-hour shift each week, and outside of this, your focus will be on leadership, management, oversight and support. You’ll be expected to step in and provide hands-on support if suitable cover cannot be arranged. This is a directly employed role, offering 37.5 contracted hours each week.
Essential:
- NMC registration
- Experience in a clinical lead/management role
- Driver
- Confident working in a family home
- Must being residing on the Isle of Wight or willing to relocate
