Job Summary
As an experienced Senior Warehouse Supervisor you will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and accuracy throughout the day. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong organisational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to motivate a team to achieve On Time In Full (OTIF) delivery performance.

Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, materials handling, and inventory management to ensure smooth operations.
- Lead, motivate, and develop warehouse staff to achieve high performance levels through effective team management and training.
- Oversee the use of warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms for accurate tracking of inventory and order processing.
- Coordinate with logistics providers, 3PL partners, and internal departments to streamline shipping schedules and delivery timelines.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, safety, and accuracy in warehouse workflows.
- Operate forklifts and mechanical equipment safely for heavy lifting tasks while adhering to safety protocols.
- Monitor compliance with safety regulations and conduct regular audits to uphold a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse management or supervisory roles within a logistics or distribution setting.
- Strong knowledge of materials handling techniques, forklift operation, and heavy lifting procedures.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 software for inventory control.
- Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff effectively.
- Experience working with 3PL providers, shipping & receiving processes, and logistics coordination.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks regularly and stand for extended periods during shifts.

Working Hours Monday to Friday currently 09:00am to 18:00 but will be be 11:00 to 20:00, as business grows
Pay: £39,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
