Responsibilities
Learn within your own processes plant recognition, quality observance, plant health, sizing requirements, working systems and production outputs as required.
Follow stock control process in place to provide accurate figures within the system.
Prepare, handle and process plants for despatch within the guidelines given.
Undertake duties which require specific skills if trained to do so, to include but not limited to; pesticide applications, vehicle operations, water treatment, pest control, irrigation procedures, plant handling and storage, performing tests and recording of results.
Adhere to Plant Healthy Standards and policies, reporting any findings in the first instance to your line manager.
Ensure that Nursery tasks are carried out on a timely basis and any foreseen problems are reported to the Nursery Manager.
Ensure that the nursery is kept in a clean and tidy during work.
Help work with the despatch team to meet orders when necessary.
Observe, Maintain & Follow Health & Safety policies.
Transfer & assist in other areas of the company as may be required.
Carry out other tasks that may be required or requested by the company.

Horticultural interest
Able to work to a hight standard in an efficient manner
Able to deliver on targets
Well organised
Good communication skills
Pay: £8.00-£12.71 per hour
