Higgins McGrath are recruiting on behalf of an established engineering services business for a permanent Helpdesk Coordinator based in Belfast.
The successful candidate will support the day-to-day coordination of planned and reactive maintenance works, acting as a key point of contact between customers, engineers, subcontractors and project teams.
This is a busy coordination role suited to someone with previous experience working within a facilities management, engineering or maintenance helpdesk environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance works.
- Allocate jobs to engineers and manage daily workloads and diaries.
- Communicate with customers regarding job progress, engineer attendance and estimated arrival times.
- Coordinate subcontractors and ensure works are scheduled appropriately.
- Maintain accurate job information and updates within the CAFM system.
- Raise and process purchase orders and assist with quotations.
- Ensure completed works, certification and associated documentation are recorded correctly.
- Support job costing and the administrative close-out of completed works.
- Work closely with Project Managers and engineering teams to support the delivery of works across client sites.
- Respond professionally to customer enquiries and provide regular updates on outstanding works.
Experience and Skills
Applicants should have:
- Previous experience within a facilities management, maintenance or engineering helpdesk environment.
- Experience coordinating engineers, maintenance works or service appointments.
- Experience using a CAFM system; knowledge of Concept CAFM would be advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple jobs and priorities.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate administrative skills.
- Confidence communicating with customers, engineers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
