to join their team.

individuals in an efficient independent workshop. They pride themselves on a consistently high quality of workmanship in a well-equipped, heated workshop that keeps their fleet on the road. Established for over 16 years in the motor trade, they have fantastic infrastructure
which enables them to maintain their own fleet in a confident and professional manner. The
business is steered towards patient transport fleet management, but they work on a variety
of vehicles supporting a very loyal customer base.
They know that well looked after, motivated technicians are central to delivering a great
customer experience and therefore, as a new member of the technical team you’ll receive,

The employer will be provided continued professional development internally and externally, is also available to enable you to progress to the best technician you can be.
They are also equipped to put technicians through their MOT accreditation.
Vehicle Technician Job Description
Daily tasks will include processing job cards, carrying out inspections and or repairs as
required. Carrying out routing inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance.
Reporting faults and documenting, liaising with workshop controller, service reception
and recording works carried out.
Their workshop is equipped to carry out Mot tests on classes 1,2,4,5,7. Current Mot testers
preferred, but not essential.
Within the workshop they have access to quality diagnostics tooling and technical
information to support thorough diagnosis of faults. A competent diagnostic technician is
ideal, but someone willing to learn diagnostic techniques would benefit from the training
courses we can provide.

Skills and Experience
- Have a minimum NVQ level 3 light vehicle maintenance and repair, or Equivalent.
- Have your own tools, specialist tooling and equipment is provided.
- A minimum of 4 years workshop experience in the Automotive industry is necessary.
- Can work on your own with a good understanding of motor mechanics.
- Have a valid full UK car drivers’ licence.
