Duties
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to ensure comfort and dignity
- Support clients in adhering to their personalized care plans, including medication reminders and health monitoring
- Provide transportation for appointments, errands, or social activities using your driving skills and company vehicle when necessary
- Maintain clear and compassionate communication with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Keep accurate records of care provided, updates on client conditions, and any incidents or concerns using IT systems or paper documentation
- Promote a safe environment by conducting regular safety checks and responding promptly to emergencies or urgent needs
- Encourage social engagement and mental stimulation to support emotional well-being
Requirements
- Valid driving license with a clean driving record for safe transportation duties
- Experience working in a care home or providing home care services is highly desirable
- Ability to read and understand care plans to deliver tailored support effectively
- Proficiency in basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes
- Strong communication skills in English to interact confidently with clients and team members
- Compassionate nature with excellent listening skills and the ability to build trusting relationships
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to personal care settings
