Seasonal Barista – Festivals & Summer Events
Pay: £15.00 per hour

About the Role
We're looking for experienced and enthusiastic Baristas to join our team for a busy summer of festivals, sporting events and outdoor shows.
Our first event is The Open Championship at Royal Birkdale, with opportunities to work at a variety of other festivals and large-scale events throughout the summer for the right candidates.
If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working with people and can produce consistently great coffee under pressure, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffees, teas and other hot beverages
- Deliver excellent customer service in a busy event environment
- Keep your workstation clean, organised and fully stocked
- Follow food hygiene and health & safety procedures
- Work as part of a friendly and professional catering team
Requirements
- Previous barista experience is essential
- Excellent customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Comfortable working in high-volume event environments
- Flexible to work weekends and early morning starts
- Right to work in the UK

The Open Championship – Royal Birkdale
13th–20th July (with the possibility of 21st July if play is extended due to weather).
Expected Shifts
- Monday: 6:00am – 12:00pm (6 hours)
- Tuesday: 6:00am – 12:00pm (6 hours)
- Wednesday: 6:00am – 12:00pm (6 hours)
- Thursday: 5:00am – 12:00pm (7 hours)
- Friday: 5:00am – 12:00pm (7 hours)
- Saturday: 6:00am – 12:00pm (6 hours)
- Sunday: 6:00am – 12:00pm (approximately, depending on play)
Expected hours: Approximately 44 hours across the event.

Experience
- Barista: 1 year (preferred)
