We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Hair Stylist to join our vibrant team of beauty professionals. In this role, you will be the go-to expert for creating stunning hairstyles, providing exceptional customer service, and mentoring junior staff. Your passion for hair artistry combined with your leadership skills will elevate the salon experience for every client. As a senior team member, you will also have opportunities to expand your expertise in barbering, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and upselling premium services. Duties
- Deliver high-quality hair styling services including cuts, color, styling, and treatments tailored to each client’s preferences
- Provide specialized services such as barbering, eyelash extensions, and professional makeup application to enhance client satisfaction
- Mentor and train junior stylists and apprentices to develop their technical skills and customer service excellence
- Manage front desk responsibilities by greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere
- Upsell additional services and retail products to maximize client experience and salon revenue
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all work areas according to health regulations
- Build strong relationships with clients through personalized consultations, effective communication, and follow-up care
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a senior hair stylist with a robust portfolio showcasing diverse styling techniques
- Expertise in store management practices including appointment scheduling, inventory control, and team coordination
- Skilled in barbering techniques with certification or extensive experience preferred
- Proficient in customer service with excellent communication skills to understand client needs and provide tailored recommendations
- Knowledge of eyelash extensions and makeup application is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to upsell services and retail products confidently while maintaining a positive client experience
- Strong leadership qualities with previous mentoring or training experience in a salon setting
